How to add your Instagram feed to your website
Keeping your website updated is so important but finding the time/money to do it can be tricky so embedding your Instagram feed onto your website is a fantastic solution. This blog post shows you how to embed your instagram feed into your website, for FREE, using Snapwidget.
When you post on Instagram, the widget on your website will automatically update with the new content, meaning your website appears to be updated without you even touching it!
To start, go to snapwidget.com and select the 'free Instagram grid'. A new page will display and you will need to enter your Instagram username along with some other simple settings such as the thumbnail size you wish your images to be, the background colour etc.
When you have decided on your layout, click 'preview in new window' and check you are happy with how the grid is displaying. If you are, go ahead and click 'get widget', this will provide you with the HTML code you need to copy and paste into your website. I placed mine in the contact page, under the contact form.
Top Tip Make sure you mark 'responsive = yes' so that your Instagram grid fits well on every screen size!
Note When your users click on any of the Instagram images, they will be taken to snapwidgets website to see your image. This could bother some people but as it is a free widget, I didn't find this to be a problem.
