Be One Baskets

Bri contacted me in need of a website for her not-for-profit company, Be One Baskets. With a Squarespace plan already purchased Bri wanted a clean, simple 6 page site with e-commerce functionality that fitted with her brand and emphasised her message.

Bri had content ready to go as she was transferring from another site to Squarespace which meant I could get started right away. I sent over an onboarding questionnaire to see where she took inspiration from and where we should take the design of the new site and then got into developing the new site which included the following pages: home, about, gallery, shop, news and contact.

The biggest task for this site was the one of the products, the ‘personalised basket’ which allowed customers to purchase an empty basket and then add in which products they wanted at an extra cost per product. In Squarespace there is no simple way to do this so I came up with a workaround that allowed customers to do just this, see image below.

I also connected a new domain (free for the first year through Squarespace) and a favicon and provided Bri with a fully personalised user guide that explained how to manage the site from updating text to adding new products.

Upon completion Bri asked if I would help her with another site which I look forward to doing.
